The baby boy survived his first year of college…though grades not in yet

That is the baby, all six foot three of him. He played club hockey for Xavier University. They had a decent season and he seemed to have a pretty good Freshman year.

He used to be little. Okay, well not really little since I think he might have been about 2 in that picture.

And he thinks this is a clean room….

I think not…

This year marks many milestones in my family. Baby boy first year away from home. Middle boy graduates. Oldest girl joined the Peace Corps and is living in Madagascar. My husband and I both turn 50. Though I hit it before he does and he won’t let up about that. And it was our first taste of being empty nesters. It wasn’t that bad. But this summer will be interesting with both the boys living at home.

The hardest milestone for me right now is fifty, though I do miss when all the kids were little and living at home. That kept me skinny, running them from hockey rink to hockey rink…Sigh

At the time of this picture they might have been 11, 9, and 5.

Then they grew…Screen Shot 2016-05-06 at 10.18.10 AM

And then we went grey….

My first fifty years have been excellent. Lets hope that walk down hill is a nice long slow walk…
